From the farm

We have had some new arrivals to the farm recently

15 February 2026

The celebrations of Christmas and New Year are behind us and we are looking forward to the spring. We have had more cows arrive on the farm. The ewes are all snuggly in the sheds out of the mud and will stay there until the end of March. This means there is lots of bedding and feeding to be done each day.

There are definitely some small signs of spring, with the snowdrops up around the steading and the farm. They always make us smile.

More from the farm

November 2025

Family time on the coast, new cattle, and the tups about to meet the ewes ahead of spring lambing.

September 2025

Clipping, combining, drilling and rolling — a flat-out August on the farm, with a little family time (and ice cream) squeezed in.

July 2025

The lambs are growing fast, the silage is in, and there's never been a better time to take a farm tour.
