LONGER DAYS AND LAMBING STARTS SOON!





APRIL 2025



So we are gearing up for lambing starting later this month and we are looking forward to our fields being full of lambs.





The clocks have sprung forward and it really does feel like spring is in the air!

We are busy getting all the ewes out onto the fresh grass after their few weeks cosy in the shed and lambing begins around 21st April.





Jim has been back to the farm ploughing and the next job will be drilling the Spring Barley and the Spring Oats





We have also planted lots more trees in the last month, over 13000 in fact! A mix of softwoods and hardwoods. A team of six planters came onto the farm and got them all planted in three days - amazing!
