FARM TOURS - Experience nature in an immersive farm tour

Since 2005, the Tile family has embraced organic farming practices, cultivating the land with respect for nature and a focus on sustainability. During the tour, you'll learn about the family's journey, their commitment to organic methods, and intriguing facts about the local area that make Bairnkine Farm a unique operation.

Get up close to our wool-shedding sheep and fattening cattle. Witness first hand the care and dedication that go into raising these animals in harmony with the environment. Our tour offers a chance to interact with pet lambs and observe the livestock that play a crucial role in our farming ecosystem.​

We farm organically at Bairnkine and are inspected and certified by The Soil Assocation.

We have solar panels at our holiday cottages and our own home.

We grow barley to feed to our cattle.

We sell our oats to a mill less than 12 miles away to be sold on as organic porridge oats.
